THE FOUR VOWS -SHIGUSEIGANMON-:

The four vows are recited daily after finishing zazen. The ideals of the Mahayana Buddhism are renewed by which the liberation of all beings is put before our own and vows are made to practice the Buddha’s path beyond any difficulty.

SHUJO MUHEN SEI GAN DO
Por numerosos que sean los seres, hago el voto de liberarlos a todos.

BONNO MUJIN SEI GAN DAN
Por ilimitadas que sean las ilusiones, hago el voto de vencerlas todas.

HO MON MURYO SEI GAN GAKU
Por abundantes que sean las puertas del Dharma, hago el voto de atravesarlas todas.

BUTSU DO MUJO SEI GAN JO
Por perfecta que sea la Vía de Buda, hago el voto de realizarla.

Dedication of the ceremony or recitation for all present, past and future Buddhas, beyond ourselves.

JI HO SAN SHI I SHI FU
A todos los Budas pasados, presentes y futuros en las diez direcciones.

SHI SON BU SA MO KO SA
A todos los Bodhisattvas y los patriarcas.

MO KO HO JA HO RO MI
El Sutra de la Gran Sabiduría que permite ir más allá.

TRADUCCIÓN DEL SUTRA DEL KESA (TAKKESA GE):

This small sutra is chanted every morning in temples and dojos. The kesa is the cloth of the Buda. Buda made the cloth himself from thrown out and dirty clothes that he himself gathered, cleaned and sew together. It symbolizes the transmission of teachings and the transformation of oneself. From cloth that no one wants, emerges the monk cloth, the Buda cloth, and then fully transformed we are able to help other beings.

DAI SAI GEDA PUKU
Oh vestido de la gran liberación.

MUSO FUKUDEN E
Kesa del campo de la felicidad ilimitada.

HI BU NYORAI KYO
Recibo con fe la enseñanza de Buda.

KODO SHOSHU JO
Para ayudar generosamente a todos los seres sensibles.
